Adelaide's POV

Why would anyone leave me a letter at the border? I didn't know anyone. I wondered as I pulled out the letter and opened it cautiously. As I read the sentences again, tears began to well up in my eyes. 

"Adelaide, what is going on?" Denzel noticed that I was upset and asked. I simply continued reading the letter, dreading what might come next. Denzel knelt in front of me and begged, "Adelaide, talk to me please." I let go of the letter and turned to face Denzel and Alan before uttering the words, 

"He found me and is coming for me." I keep hearing the letter's phrases in my head. *If you think you could get away from me, you should reconsider. I have located you. When my men failed to return with you, I knew that something had to have happened. That is when I discovered they had been killed. Do not worry, I will come get you again. You were, after all, my favorite. You looked amazing running with your little mate last night
