Leila's POV

I wanted to act as if I wasn't affected by his presence at all. As if I didn't care about him at all but my traitorous body decided to betray me. It yearned for his touch much to my dismay. It was definitely the effect of the mate bond. Now I understood why I was attracted to him from the moment I set my eyes on him. But I wasn't going to let him know that my traitorous body wanted him to roam his large hands all over me, touching me in places that...shit! Why was I thinking if him that way? I was supposed to act unbothered as he always acted. Damn those stupid thoughts, it is definitely the effect of the mate bond, nothing else. It's not as if I even like him that much, it's just the mate bond that is putting those dirty thoughts into my head.
