How could he? I should have known all this while he was only acting, that he didn't mean anything he said in there but no my stupid heart kept skipping a beat for every lie he pronounced.

I should have known that he still saw me as an inferior person again. Fuck! I had even smiled widely because I thought that he had finally acknowledged me as his mate.

Everything was just a facade and my god-damned heart fell for it.

If only I had kept to the promise I made to myself and acted as if he didn't have an effect on me, then this wouldn't have happened.
