Chapter 107 Questions and Answers

After dinner, Wayne took Olive to the balcony and had them sit and watch the almost-full moon. It reminded both of them that they would be fully mated and recognized by the moon as one as soon as it became full.

“I’m scared,” Olive spoke up as she leaned against Wayne’s chest. He was sitting on a resting chair, and she sat between his legs.

“About what?” he asked and smoothed her hair.

“The future. What does it hold for us after now?” she answered.

“Do you mean after we’re mated successfully? Life after that?” Wayne inquired.

“Yes. That’s what I mean,” Olive answered. Wayne chuckled deeply and placed a small kiss on the back of her neck.

“You don’t have to worry about that. Everything is going to be all right, okay?”
