Chapter 136. The Party

The elevator dinged open at the top floor, and they gracefully stepped out. Guards had been waiting there, and they quickly surrounded their Alpha and Luna. The party was being held in the receiving hall of the entire castle, which was spacious enough to accommodate hundreds of people dining and dancing.

Shem, Crusoe, Jericho, and the ladies were walking a few paces behind Wayne and Olive, while the guards walked beside them. As they reached the sliding double doors that led to the receiving hall, Crusoe mindlinked the Master of Ceremonies to let him know they were there. Almost instantly, the smooth music died down.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you’ve all been waiting for has now come. Behold, the newest ruling mates tonight, Alpha and Luna Knight,” the MC announced, and the double doors slid away, revealing the dashing mates illuminated under the spotlight.
