Chapter 140. I'm Not Taking Olive!

Mufasa gently stroke his short white beard.

“Interesting,” he mumbled then scribbled away in his book.

“Alpha,” Jericho called to Wayne, begging him to not do anything rashly. This situation would spiral into something else if not treaded well with wisdom.

“I'm not taking her, Jericho. I'm not taking Olive to them,” Wayne declared with his teeth bared. Jericho flinched.

“Yikes, Alpha. I'm not asking you to. Don't put that rage out on me,” he stated and frowned.

Mufasa chuckled while Wayne exhaled and looked at his mate. Olive was still dazed. And scared. Things were going in the wrong direction. How in the world did they get to Shem of all people?

“I sensed dark energy in the hall and knew when I saw that lady that it was coming from her. So I asked the guys to keep an eye on her,” Wayne answered her thoughts. Olive furrowed her brows.

“What...lady?” she asked.

“The one with the talkative mother.”

Olive gasped.
