Chapter 78. The Match
Finally, it was the Saturday of the match. Lois couldn't wait to watch the game and she even got a new hairdo for the event. She had her nails done, got a very nice sports wear and bought a new pair of shoes. It was a VIP event, so she wanted to look like a VIP.
She took one last look at herself in the mirror. Her white joggers were neat and fitted her white sneakers. She wore a fancy white crop top and a baseball hat, with her ponytail sticking out from it.
“I look superb!” she squealed and jumped happily.
“I bet Walter Lance is going to see me dazzling in the stands”, she joked and twirled around.
She then looked at her wristwatch and it was thirty minutes to the time of the match. She grabbed her white fanny pack and clasped it over her arm then walked out of her room. She entered her kitchen and took a bottle of soda, gulped it down and returned it to the fridge. Then she headed out of her house.
