Chapter 25
Daciana woke up with a start, her eyes scanning the dimly lit cell for any sign of danger. As her eyes adjusted to the low light, she spotted the guard standing just outside her cell, watching her sleep. She felt a surge of anger and frustration wash over her as she realized that she was still a prisoner in this place.
