Chapter 21. Getting Suzie Trust

Suzie POV

I fiddled with the hem of my dress as I sat down, face to face with a woman, who looked like she was in her early thirties. She has a very slim figure, and her brown hair was in a bob, which covered her cheeks, giving her face a round structure.

Her eyes were fixed on the desktop in front of her, but after a few minutes, she turned to me, her bright green orbs, smiling at me.

“You must be Suzie, it’s so nice to meet you. I’m doctor Catherine, and I’ll be your physiotherapist from today,” She said with a smile as she extended her hand out to me.

I eyed her warily before accepting her handshake. She kept smiling at me warmly, but it still did not remove the feeling of unease that had settled at the pit of my stomach.

“We scheduled a meeting with Dr Catherine here for you. She’ll help you a lot,” Asher spoke up.
