Chapter 65. Final Decision

Ezra's POV

As soon as I left the hospital after seeing Ivy, I prepared to go back to my pack. This time, I would not let anyone stop me.

I was going to end the engagement, whether they liked it or not. I did not care about the conditions. I did not want to be the Alpha after my father if I had to live according to their terms. The pack might be everything to him, but it wasn't to me. This was my life, and I'd let them dictate it for far too long.

Lana had been following Ivy around, and she might have been Sam's accomplice. Even if she wasn't, she would have tried to harm her sooner or later. I wasn't going to wait until she repeated what she had done in the past.

I got to the pack at a good time; the council was meeting. When I walked into the room, my father rose and gestured for me to sit at his right, a smile on his face.
