Justin’s POV

I was happy to find Wendel’s social media. I decided to call him immediately, and after just three rings, he answered the call, and I was so relieved.

“Hello? Who’s this?” Wendel asked on the other line.

“Hey, I’m sorry if this is all so sudden. But I’m Justin; you might have heard about me through Eli,” I said nervously.

“Oh! Hi! So what’s up? Did something happen to Eli?” he asked curiously.

“I’m sorry, but Eli and I had a misunderstanding. She’s in the Philippines now, and I wonder if you know how I could contact her or any address I could go to?” I said, hoping he’d trust me on this.

“What happened between you and Eli?” he asked, clearly being protective of Eli.

“It’s a long story, Wendel, but I promise you, it’s all a misunderstanding,” I replied earnestly. “I love Eli, and I want to make things right. I just need to talk to her and explain everything. Can you help me with that?”
