Chapter 7

Tasha tried to sleep. She forced her eyes shut and tried thinking of nothing. Nothing happened. She tried counting sheep. All she managed was to count over a hundred white fluffy sheep jumping over clouds in her mind. The harder she tried to sleep, the more alert and awake she felt. Tasha knew what she had to do. She stood up and went to her closet. She pointed at the closet door, it rolled open. She flicked past her training wear to her more casual clothing. She pulled out a hanger holding a cute pink blouse. She waved her hand, the blouse floated to her bed.

Tasha took her brown ‘road trip’ tote bag that was hanging on a hook on the side of the closet. She grabbed a cute purple t-shirt with a kitten on it and dropped it into the tote. She flipped through the rest of her wardrobe until she came to her favorite pair of beige shorts. She pulled them from their shelf and dropped them into the tote.

Tasha quickly moved to her dresser. Her heart was pounding. S
