Chapter 15. Grandma's Boy
“Grandma! I took a lot of things!” Elijah screamed happily as he hurried to the car, completely unaware of what was going on outside. He was carrying a tiny book with him. “Thank you, Grandma!” he exclaimed.
“Thank you so much, Elijah! Come on in.” She hugged Elijah and kissed him on the cheeks.
“Grandmother, I adore you! I’ll miss you! Thank you so much once more!” Elijah stated.
Following that, Elijah got in his car and immediately told his parents about the books he’d obtained, as well as the coloring book, storybook, and other activity books he’d gotten. It also came with a box of crayons.
Penelope was happy because her son was happy.
“Thank you, Grandma. We’ll come back,” Penelope said happily.
“Oh! That’s nothing! Just come back whenever you want. You’re welcome here, anytime,” Harper responded. “And you, my lovely grandson,” the old woman pinched Dylan’s nose.
