Chapter 53. Again and Again

A few minutes ago, Dylan was still standing in front of Elijah's door at the hospital; he wasn't sure if he was going to knock or not.

Dylan also heard that the blood he donated to the patient earlier was translated. This meant that Penelope accepted the man's help. Still, he did not know if Penelope would accept her again as Elijah's father because of what he had done earlier.

While Dylan was still standing in the doorway, he heard Penelope's voice coming from inside Elijah's room.

The door opened suddenly, and Penelope and Dylan were surprised to see each other. The former was also next to Lucas, clinging his arm to her.

On the other hand, when Dylan saw Penelope, he wanted to walk away because he was afraid the woman might get angry with him again, but he couldn't move his feet. It was like they were stuck to the floor.
