Chapter 29. Morning Mysteries II
I entered my new room after Cassian closed his door and wiped away any remaining tears. I wanted to appear strong and not show any signs of weakness. To distract myself, I looked around. The room was spacious, with plain white walls, a decent-sized bed in the center, and a closet on one side. There was also a bathroom attached to the room. The room was nicely furnished and had beautiful artwork. Overall, it looked impressive. Compared to my room at Carter Mansion, this was a hundred times better, and I couldn't help but feel content.
