Chapter 31. Unsettled Beginnings

Three weeks of our marriage flew by quickly without any changes in our routine. Cassian would leave for work early in the morning and return late at night, while I spent my time talking to Mary aunty or reading books. Today, I finished cooking dinner early and decided to go to the library. As I was reading, I realized that it had been a while since I visited the temple or the park. I thought about going tomorrow, but I wanted to ask Cassian for permission to avoid any more disagreements between us. So, I stayed up late, waiting for him to come home.
In the living room, I found myself more focused on the door than the TV. I lost track of time and accidentally fell asleep on the couch. Suddenly, a noise startled me awake, and I saw Cassian picking up the TV remote from the floor.
