Finally, it was the day we were going on our "vacation." I still didn't know where we were going, and I didn't want to ask. We arrived at the airport, and as someone who had never been to an airport or been on a plane before, this place felt really big. Cassian, on the other hand, acted like he had been to airports many times. Well, maybe he had. He had more reasons and money to travel than I did. Canada had always been enough for me.

We went through all the airport procedures, which I had no idea about, and eventually got on the plane. My heart started racing because I had never been on an airplane before. The flight attendant greeted us, and we found our seats. The plane itself looked really fancy. Cassian took the seat by the window, and I sat next to him.
