Chapter 53. Master Rooms II

Rich people really liked big, fancy buildings. I had never stayed in a hotel like this before.

Cassian went to the reception and said, "We have two master rooms booked under Cassian Adi Sinclair." Two rooms? Thank goodness!

"Welcome. Your luggage has been brought to your rooms. Here are your keycards, and someone will show you to your rooms," the receptionist said.

We followed the person to the elevator and then to our rooms. "Enjoy your stay," they said before leaving. Cassian gave me a keycard and pointed to my room. I nodded and went to open the door. Just as I was about to open it, I heard a familiar voice exclaim, "Hey!"

Cassian and I turned to see who it was. I was shocked when I saw her—Ayesha.

She hugged Cassian and kissed him, leaving me feeling vulnerable. Tears filled my eyes as I watched the scene unfold. 'Don't cry in front of them, Seraphina. That's what she wants.'
