Chapter 119. Finding Answers
Jeremy’s POV
I slapped cold water on my face, feeling the sensation chase away the last traces of sleep, then looked up at my reflection in Chris’ bathroom mirror.
My eyes looked dull, hair slightly rough but I had no intention of tending to it. I grabbed the extra toothbrush and brushed my teeth. When I was done, my body felt like it was experiencing a hungover.
I might have drank too much from the scotch bottles yesternight before crashing on his living room couch, hence, this feeling.
I ignored grim, who was currently parading my feet. She was probably missing home already. I grabbed my phone, intending to text Teyana, but her message was already there waiting for me.
