Chapter 100. The Order

Dominus' POV

'Dad, there is a problem,' I said to Dad through the mind link.

'What is the problem, Dom?' Dad asked. I could hear the panic in his voice. 

'Alan is Mara's mate,' I said sighing sadly.

'What?' Dad's voice thundered into the mind link.

'That is what she told us,' I said.

'We will be there as fast as we can,' Dad said and closed the mind link. 

I looked at Mara with pity. She was shivering in Mum's hands as if she was cold. But I knew the cold wasn't physical. She wasn't even crying. 

'Mara, Dad said he will be back to talk to you soon,' I said for lack of what to say.

'What did he do? The guy in the cell?' Mara asked.

'He led the fight that took Lucia's father from us,' I answered. 

'So he is going to die?' Mara asked but none of us answered.

I wanted to tell her that he was going to die after he was questioned. He might not die immediately but that was actually going to be his end.
