Chapter 24. Birthday Plans

I felt something cold on my face and I quickly opened my eyes. My gaze met that of Lance. He was bent over me looking sweaty. 

'Lance?' 

'Yes? Were you expecting someone else?' He smiled boyishly. A smile that made spark dance down my spine. 

'Why is your hand so cold?' I asked sitting up in bed.

'That will be because I have been outside. And the cold outside is killing,' he explained

'What are you doing in my room?' 

'I came to ask you what your plans for your birthday are,' he answered, pulling the chair closer to the bed so that he could sit close to me.

'I have no plans Lance.' 

'Really?' He asked with a brow up.

'Yes. Is it a must that I have plans?' I asked yawning and stretching at the same time.

The gap in my nightgown opened slightly to expose a bit of my cleavage. I didn't miss how Lance's eyes heated up at the sight. I quickly covered up and I blushed.
