Lance's POV

'Reen you need to calm down,' I said for the umpteenth time.

'What if I wasn't meant to touch her? What if she dies quicker because of my careless move?' Maureen asked looking too worried for her own good.

'Either you touched her or not she would have died. It might have been a coincidence that you touched her at her very last moment,' Lucia said and I sent a grateful look her way.

'No. it wasn't coincidental. I felt warmth go out from me into her,' Maureen argued.

She was right. She had felt the warmth and I had seen the bright light that processed from Maureen into Lisa.

I knew Lucia also saw It but she was trying to make Maureen calm down so that we could talk about it. I wished at that moment that Grandma Gina was around.
