Maureen's POV

'You had better not let me hear you complain of neck pain. You all should know better than to spend the night on the kitchen table,' Lucia said when Dominus rolled his shoulder for the umpteenth time as we got ready at dawn to set out.

'We thought nothing of it,' Lance grumbled.

'But now you do,' Lucia said. 

We had woken up to find Dominus, Lance and Asher sleeping with their hands folded under their checks as they slept unperturbed about the fact that they were sleeping on the table.

I saw Dawn mouth sorry to Asher and I smiled. She saw that Lucia was angry with them and decided to comfort her mate without making it known to Lucia.

'You should feel my pain Lucia. I am your mate,' Dominus said sounding childish. 

'That is why I am angry, because I feel your pain. How comfortable is it to keep thinking my mate is in one pain or the other. You are mated wolves you should think of what your actions will do to your mates either
