Chapter 98. Death

We were ready but they weren't! We had an edge over them because we knew days before the attack that they were coming and we knew the exact time but they thought they were coming to take us unawares.

The soldiers were on ground in the Beta house. Lance and I were the ones who took food to them. If the workers at the Alpha house thought anything of the amount of food they were asked to prepare, they said nothing. I guess Martha's case was still making everyone of them keep mum about any unusual thing they saw. 

Part of the plan was to leave the border they were going to come in from unguarded. Maureen had looked into the compass again and given us specifics about the border they were coming in from. They will be hiding under the night to do the harm they wanted to do . Cowards! My mind had screamed.

We chose to attack them when they enter the pack. But to make sure they weren't anywhere near the pack house, we chose our battle ground!
