Leila’s POV
I thought Bradley was joking when he said that all the participants yesterday were at the Sapphire’s training ground. “See? They work hard even though they’re not officially members of the pack,” Bradley uttered while looking at the group.
Bradley is right ... Everyone is here, patiently training while exposed to sunlight and sweat.
“Leila” I turned around and saw Ava waving at me in the tree’s shade.
“So you’re telling me I’m not working hard because I prefer to rest at home for today?” I responded to Bradley’s remarks before waving back at Ava, who was now walking toward us.
“Good morning, alpha ...” Ava greeted him with her innocent smile.
Bradley ignored Ava as he turned around, but before he could walk away, he said, “I’ll accompany you in the spring, so wait for me and don’t come alone ...”
“I apologize for my brother’s disrespectful conduct,” I said quietly to Ava, my eyes fixed on Bradley’s back.
