Chapter 20. The Rumors

Kyle’s POV

I frown as I look at my phone. She wants me to never contact her ever again. I stare at the screen of my phone and try to think of a response. But I need to see her, not text her. I press the video chat call, but it doesn’t go through. I can feel frustration building in my chest.

I try sending another text to Eryn, but it doesn’t go through. Rage fills me, and I crush the phone in my hand. I have been through ten burner phones in the past week, and Eryn has blocked everyone. Today is the most I have gotten to talk to her since she left. I was hoping she would have cooled off enough by now to talk to me like an adult.
