Chapter 41. Mine Tonight

Eryn’s POV

Cassie drags me out of my bed, which I have been moping in for the past week. She tugs on my arm and yanks me from the bed. I land on the floor with a massive thud.

“You stink, you need a dye job, and tonight at midnight, you turn eighteen,” she grunts as she drags me out of our room. “You aren’t going to waste away in this room on the most important day of your life.”

She is dragging me into the bathroom, and everyone is watching, but I don’t care. I know she is right. I do stink, and I do need a dye job, but I am too depressed to do anything about it.

She kicks the bathroom door open and shoves me inside. Before the door is closed, she is pulling my clothes off my body. At this point, I am not even fighting her. I am weak from not eating for a week, and I know she won’t give up.

After she has stripped me naked, she pulls me to my feet and guides me into the shower. Cassie turns on the water and shoves me inside. The water is freezing
