Chapter 54. Meeting

Eryn’s POV

I am standing in Alpha Kristof’s office with my eyes glued to the ground. I feel like a kid in the principal’s office waiting for their punishment.

Atticus, on the other hand, is sprawled out on the couch in the back of the office. He refused to take a shower before coming to the meeting, and my scent is wafting off of him. There is no question what we were up to before we came downstairs, and Atticus couldn’t look more pleased with himself.

Kyle is hunched over in the corner. He looks like hell. I am sure he was up all night fighting against the pain because of me. I am unable to look him in the eyes. As much as I hate him, I hate myself more for hurting him. I am not that type of person.
