Chapter 59. Lies

Kyle’s POV

My father drags me from the dungeons. I wasn’t done taunting Alpha Atticus, but my father wouldn’t let me say another word. His claws are digging into my shoulder, and his hands are shaking.

He closes the dungeon door and slams me against the wall. “What the fuck were you thinking?” He demands to know.

“I was telling him what we agreed upon,” I respond. “I don’t understand what I have done wrong.”

“He has mobilized his warriors,” my father’s voice is trembling. “We don’t stand a chance against the Warrior Pack. Not to mention, we will have the Werewolf Council sniffing around.”
