Alice immediately reacted after hearing those words. She grabbed the man’s arms and forcibly turned him around. Since Chris wasn’t vigilant anymore around her ex, his body was forced to face her as she noticed his eyes turning red. She knew that he got emotional at the moment and was trying to play ‘hero’ in front of her.
