A powerful electric surge coursed through me, and I couldn't contain a piercing scream.

It felt as though my body was engulfed in flames, thousands of needles relentlessly stabbing into my heart. The packhouse trembled as if hit by a mild earthquake, sending ripples of alarm throughout the pack. Within the mind link, members were filled with panic; some even began to cry out in deep anguish.
