Chapter 167. Daddy’s Pup

Becca's POV

We sat side by side, maintaining a safe distance.

Klevin kept his eyes open, observing Joe with keen interest. My pup was growing rapidly; his werewolf genes clearly dominated. Despite being only six weeks old, he acted like a human baby of four months. I chuckled as he tracked the stranger's every move intently. I always thought my little one was a daddy’s boy.

At one point, Joe realized that he was being observed. “Little man, you’re a brave little protector for your mother,” he said amusedly to Klevin. "Don't worry about me, I mean no harm."

In response, Klevin rewarded him with a toothless giggle, clearly showing his trust in Joe.

“Where are you from, lady?" Joe inquired. "This is a common question here on the beach since we gather from many different parts of the world.” While my instincts assured me that Joe posed no threat, it was still wise to maintain some distance when interacting with strangers.
