Chapter 172. The Grandparents
Elyon’s POV
As I settled into my seat on the plane with the baby in the stroller, everyone gazed at me affectionately.
Seeing a man alone with a baby is always astonishing, I thought. Many men didn't fully dedicate their attention to their children, so I considered myself a positive example.
As Becca had predicted, the baby slept through everything. The flight attendant set up a baby cot next to my seat and positioned it low enough that the baby was level with me. He babbled briefly when I placed him in but soon drifted back to sleep as if nothing had happened.
It was a five-hour journey, long enough for any infant to get cranky and if that eventually happened, I hoped sincerely that the flight attendant knew how to keep him calm. With no experience handling babies myself, it was only the idea of vacationing in New York and receiving a free ticket that convinced me to help Becca out.
