Becca's POV

Chin high, I walked past Clea without acknowledging her.

She was less than air to me, that traitor. Did she really think she could keep up her charade in front of me? And now here she was at the Council, where my fate would be decided. What schemes did she have this time?!

My blood boiled at the sight of her. My fists clenched tightly at my sides, the urge to confront her almost overwhelming. The audacity of her to show up there, of all places, as if she had any right to be part of my trial.

She was startled by my demeanor, her eyes widening slightly. Was she worried I had uncovered her deception? Good. She should be worried. I had every intention of exposing her for the backstabbing snake she was.

As I entered the packhouse, Alpha Terzic walked beside me. Once inside the elevator, he looked at me with curiosity.

"Why did you ignore the Luna of Full Moon? That was rude. She's also from Paxton and clearly knows you well
