With nerves of steel, Becca descended the stairs to the spacious hall where the hearing was about to take place. Upon reaching the main floor, she was surprised to find her parents waiting there.

"Mom! Dad! You're here too!" she exclaimed, throwing herself into her parents' embrace. The tears were impossible to hold back.
