Chapter 179. The Waiting
Third-Person POV
In New York, Zane held his son affectionately against his chest.
He breathed in the sweet baby scent, never getting enough of it. He couldn't believe that his son was finally there with him, making him tangibly a father. Klevin Jr.'s joyful laughter filled the room as he softly whispered tender words, expressing how honored and grateful he felt to have him in his life.
"Don't worry, my little boy," he said gently as he kissed Klevin Jr. on the forehead. "When your mother returns, we'll take long trips on the yacht, and I'll teach you how to swim in the open sea. Then at night, we'll have dinner together on deck. I promise it'll be wonderful."
