Becca's POV
Jerney didn't disappoint me.
He executed his role with such skill that one might mistake him for a professional actor familiar with the script. Though he frowned at Alex's name, he refused to give Elyon the satisfaction he sought.
"Sir, you've heard it directly. Becca isn't interested in spending time with you. I advise you not to impose and focus on your own life instead. We're fine here," he said calmly and confidently to the man sitting across from him.
Elyon rose in anger, his eyes blazing with frustration. Without saying a word, he spun on his heel and left. I watched him go in despair, my heart burdened by the realization that the man I once loved had become a constant nuisance, always buzzing around and causing irritation.
"Do you think we can get rid of him? This is quite a challenge now! I just wanted to live here peacefully," I sighed, my voice heavy with exhaustion.
