Alpha Rollins's POV

One week ago...

I didn't have to check in the pack building before I discovered she was missing; I knew the first place she would go, so I went to her friend's house, Sophie. I had only been there once, but I had no issue finding the little apartment.

I busted into the house without knocking—her friend was there, her eyes wide. I was being a jerk by scaring the lady this way- she had nothing to do with this, but at this point I didn't care; I knew Cara had been here; I could perceive her scent.

"Where is she?" I asked, and Sophie backed away.

"Stay away from me," she said, her voice shaky, but I had to give the girl some credit; she was kind of brave; any other person wouldn't have dared to say a word. The look on my face was deadly enough.

"I know she came here; I don't want to hurt you; I just need you to tell me where she has gone."

"No"

I was pissed.
