Cara's POV

The other rogue set his eyes on me too, and he looked furious. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on with them.

"You did this." The second one growled at me, and Rollins stood tensed beside me.

"So you finally decided to speak, dogs?" he said, his voice harsh.

"We hoped to see her, your Luna.

We left our pack only two days ago; you see, every pack had been tense since the Lycan's threats; we all know what is coming; there would be no place to hide; soon, from one pack to the next, the Lycans would destroy us all, irrespective of our numbers."

The second one continued. "She is the reason the Lycans have been awakened; she is the reason we are all doomed; she is a curse, not a blessing."

"How did you know that?, about the Lycans". Rollins asked because I was too shocked to speak. He tried keeping his voice down, but I could tell that these wolves wouldn't live very long—not like they didn't know that already.
