The following morning, I got inside the mansion and met Chris pacing with his phone to his ears.

Mom sees me standing at the door and calls back for Chris's attention.

He wanted to come to me when they saw Dad's lawyer walk in.

Mr. Richard greeted everyone.

He got to the sofa and noticed the tension in the air. I came close while Chris inquired about his visit.
