Chapter 32

I went to the market; I had every list on mom's paper.

The driver helped me get some of them to the car. On our way home, I noticed a dark-thinned car was following us.

The driver also noticed and thought it wise to call the police. That wasn't a bad idea. I picked up my phone to call when suddenly a truck was speedily approaching our car.

Immediately, I let go of my phone and screamed out.

The driver tried to move to the other side of the road, steering as it hit a huge tree.

I fell on the car door. I looked up and noticed a man talking on the phone. He was standing outside the car and talking on the phone.

I noticed the car was smoking, and the driver was unconscious due to the accident.

The man I saw talking on the phone left. I somehow managed to get out of the car and, in a short time, pulled the driver to safety.

The pedestrians walking there saw what was happening and ran to help.

The ambulance was called, and we were both
