Chapter 107. Sulking
"Why are you being like that?" Roy shot back. "What did I do again for you to act like this?"
"Stop arguing, please," Amari interjected, nearly making me forget he was with us in the car.
Roy glanced at me, but I just rolled my eyes. Until now, he couldn't seem to grasp why I was acting this way. He came to the house earlier as if nothing happened, acting like everything was normal, which only fueled my frustration.
I almost frowned, just short of crossing my brows, as I looked out the window. Truthfully, I didn't want to come along if it weren't for my son. I'd be here begrudgingly.
I took out my cell phone and started fidgeting with it. I replied to a few colleagues who had greeted me. As I scrolled through messages, I came across Blake's name.
"Blake," I responded.
