Alec's POV

There was silence again. Until I said, "I thought I'd keep you company for a bit, I heard it's pretty boring here."

Of course, it's boring here; what a stupid statement. I wanted to hit myself for it, but she answered straight away, "Did Brownie ask you to talk to me?"

I looked at her completely perplexed. Who is Brownie? And who should commission me? I'm the Alpha. If so, I'll commission it.

After another few seconds of silence, I was able to resist asking, "Who's Brownie?"
