Alec's POV

He had found happiness and she was human too. People also feel the connection, but not as much as we do. When he told her our secret, she couldn't live with it. It was driving her crazy. She pushed him away and since we can't live without each other, he marked her. Without her having agreed and being ready for it.

He acted out of spite and desperation. He wanted to bind her to him, forever. Wanted to make her feel what he felt too. But one day when they argued because he wanted to bring her into our pack, something happened that he still remembers to this day.

They broke up in an argument and a day later she was found dead in her apartment. Suicide. It broke his heart and of course, he blamed himself for leaving her alone.
