Alec's POV

She grinned at me. "She's finally awake, Alpha."

I let go of her and took a step further into the room. I couldn't believe what she had just said if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

Standing around her bed three nurses and a doctor were working on the equipment, doing some tests on her or putting away other equipment. I was standing right in front of her bed and those present seemed to notice my presence as they slowly moved from the bed. And suddenly my eyes met her to two brown eyes looking at me.

She was awake. She is awake and sitting here in her bed in front of me. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing and out of shock and disbelief, I dropped my cup of coffee, which scattered all over the floor in all directions. The nurses jumped and the doctor also looked at me skeptically. A short time later, a nurse came into the room with a rag to wipe away the coffee.
