Chapter 161
Valeria's POV
Even though I was already pretty exhausted and sweaty, I still wanted to use the punching bag to exert some strength. So I took the gloves and took turns hitting the bag. The longer I did this, the more euphoric I became and in the end, it was just pure violence. I started screaming and continuing to hit the bag. A lot has built up and at some point, it all has to come out.
Exhausted, I sank to the floor and opened my gloves. I could already see in the sky that the sun was about to set. So I looked at the clock. Half past five. How long was I in here, please? The music probably distracted me a bit. So I got up and ran to the door. When I opened it, I was faced with Alec who was about to knock.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, taken aback.
"I wanted to check on you." He cleared his throat and straightened his shirt. I hadn't even noticed that he had dressed up if you could call it that.
