Chapter 162

Valeria's POV

He staggered someone over and whispered something in their ear. A little later he disappeared into the living room.

"What did you tell him?"

"Let me surprise you."

I sipped the second glass of champagne. "I don't know how many more surprises I can handle."

"Trust me, they're good surprises."

A short time later the waiter came back with a tray. There were three different cocktails on it, which he placed on the table.

I looked at Alec skeptically. "You want to fill me up, right?" I laughed briefly.

"I think that when you come of age, you should enjoy it too." He downed his glass of champagne and ordered a round of shots. This may indeed be something.
