Valeria's POV

After what seemed like an eternity she let go of me and looked into my eyes. “You look terrible. Come on, sit down first. Where do you come from and where have you been? You have to tell me everything, including what happened." She pulled me into the house and placed me on a chair in the kitchen. Then she gave me a glass of water, which I accepted gratefully. "So go ahead. What happened ?"

I took a deep breath before I started. But this time I told her everything. Everything.

Starting with the kiss, the meeting in the forest, our argument, and the books I had read. Finally, I told her about my encounter with the wolf and explained to her that, for better or worse, I am now a werewolf. Maybe it was a mistake to think that I could best deal with my problems alone. Maybe I should have contacted someone sooner.

After I finished speaking, I breathed a sigh of relief. I was happy and relieved to finally have said everything.
