Then we have to open other pages. I adjusted my things, turned to him, and walked towards him. I was now standing directly in front of him and sat on his legs so that we could look at each other. I took his face in my hands.

“Do you hear me, Alec? Please, say something. Anything. I don't care what. But talk to me, please. I'm begging you." I let go of his head and shook his shoulders. "Now say something, damn it. Insult me! Yell at me! Anything! But do something!"
