Chapter 25

Zea's POV

Anny nodded, intimidated, and took my hand lightly. How would she react in really dangerous situations?

"Hey Anny," I whispered over to her. "The last time I was here I sent a cry for help to my best friend. Shall we really piss him off and do it again?" I grinned and Anny also bit her chapped lips to keep from laughing out loud. Cole's face alone would make it worth it.

Determined, I pulled out my cell phone and looked up Cole's contact.

Cole, help!

I didn't write anything else. The idiot would behead me anyway if he came here unnecessarily. I briefly considered whether I was going to take him to a 180, but let's be honest: I had known Cole forever and he had done much worse things to me just for fun. Afterward, like last time, I sent him my live location grinned, and put my phone away again.

I was dead. Cole would kill me slowly and painfully. At least I would die happy.
